Friends of O'Neal Library Book Sale

For more than 50 years, the Friends of the O’Neal Library in Mountain Brook have supported the library through their annual book sale. The Book Sale weekend, February 25-27, 2022, kicks off with the Preview Party on Thursday, February 24th from 6-8 pm. By donating $25 or more to the library, you will receive an invitation to the Preview Party where you will have first access to the collection, which includes beautiful art and coffee table books, first editions, and rare titles that the Friends have been organizing all year long. Donations may be made at the door, or you can donate to the library on their website: www.oneallibrary.org . Just go to the support tab and click on Mountain Brook Library Foundation. The sale is open to everyone on Friday, February 25th and Saturday, February 26th from 10am-5pm, and Sunday February 27th from 2pm-5pm. The proceeds from the book sales support O’Neal Library’s adult and teen programs. All books from this year’s sale (over 20,000 volumes!) were donated throughout the year by members of the community or from the Library’s collection. The Friends will be accepting donations for the 2022 sale until February 12th, for more information on how or what to donate please contact Friends President, Barbara Blair at barbaramblair@gmail.com.
